The Swedish actor Gustaf Skarsgard is best known outside Scandinavia for his role as Floki the shipbuilder in the History Channel series Vikings. He discovered his acting talent very early. When he was 9 years old he played the role of the son of his real father in Coq Roque. In 2003 he joined Dramaten Theatre Company and played in many Shakespeare stage productions as well as in Chekhov's and Söderberg’s works. He was starred also in several TV series and films roles, most notably The Invisible and Evil, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 76th Academy Awards in 2004.
