Panini Deutschland has been one of the most important partners of CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART from the very beginning.
With its Panini Comics label, the Stuttgart-based publisher is the German publishing home of all well-known US comic publishers. This brings together under one roof the superheroes of Marvel (Spider-Man, X-Men, Wolverine, Avengers, Deadpool and Co.) and DC (Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn …), the Simpsons (Bongo Comics) and Star Wars (Marvel/Lucasfilm). Buffy (Dark Horse Comics), Doctor Who (Titan Comics), Preacher (Vertigo) and many other well-known titles are also part of the Panini portfolio, as are Franco-Belgian albums, Japanese mangas and excellent graphic novels by international and German comic artists.
The CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART plays a special role for Panini Comics due to the high quality of the event, the many enthusiastic fans and, of course, the proximity to the publishing house in Stuttgart. Accordingly, Panini is once again presenting an exquisite line-up of top comic artists who will be signing, drawing and presenting themselves on stage. Exclusive collector’s editions and an exciting supporting program are also planned.
is a busy cover artist who has already interpreted Spawn, Batman and many Marvel heroes in his unique, high-class style. He is therefore a regular guest at American comic fairs and has a huge fan base. Here he is making his German trade fair debut in Stuttgart! For Björn’s first appearance at Panini, we have a whole series of variants of him with us, so that there is guaranteed to be something for every taste from this exceptional talent …
Following his own work for the American market and projects such as The Witcher and Avengers, he is currently working on Dark X-Men and has other projects in the pipeline with the House of Ideas. We are looking forward to his visit and will of course have the right material at our stand!
Everyone probably knows this veteran of the German comic scene, especially in his native Swabia. His Rudi comics have long since achieved cult status and Peter’s appearance at every trade fair includes the obligatory beer bottle. It was therefore a MUST that we asked him to contribute a Rudi variant for the ultimate Bier graphic novel and to sign it at the Panini stand. Cheers!
The Spaniard will be in Stuttgart for the first time for a signing. He learned to draw comics at the renowned Joso School for Comic Book Artists, then worked for smaller publishers and was signed by DC in 2009, later also by Marvel, and is currently one of the main Star Wars artists.
Some people will know him as the illustrator of Donald and Scrooge McDuck. But the Norwegian can also do things very differently: in Eva – Klima in der Krise (Eva – Climate in Crisis), the eco-activist shows a super-realistic and very dark style, in keeping with the message: “If we don’t do something for the world now, it will be too late!”
