Card Show meets Comic-Con at CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2022

Where TV and movie stars get up close and personal with their fans, cosplayers and superheroes thrill visitors, and comic artists and publishers present their latest works. When fantasy and science fiction suddenly become reality – then it’s that time again: CCON becomes a Mecca for all pop culture enthusiasts.

For the first time at a Comic Con: The Card Show

Another exciting topic awaits visitors: trading cards. Whether sports cards or non-sports cards – collectible cards have enjoyed great popularity for many years and have been hyped by fans ever since. That’s why Collectors City is now bringing a Card Show to the big stage for the very first time. Together with the organizer of CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART, all visitors will be treated to two unforgettable days on both days of the trade fair in their own large area in Hall 1 on the gallery.

Collectables manufacturer Topps Deutschland will present its products as the exclusive event presenter on site. Known for collections such as Match Attax Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League stickers or with licenses to Star Wars™ and Garbage Pail Kids®, Topps Germany has planned a variety of activities around the trade show booth. In this way, Topps wants to bring the fascination of collecting special cards closer to the visitors and give them an insight into this exciting world.

Highlights for collector fans

Countless dealers:inside, service providers:inside and exhibitors:inside are expected on site to present the products around the topic of trading cards to the visitors:inside. The community will also have the opportunity to trade or sell cards at collector’s tables. This will give everyone the opportunity to get their hands on a special card or two.

An absolute highlight will be the Box Break Stage. Over the two days, various box breakers will break one or the other box live on site and via stream. In addition, this stage will be used again and again for other activities and promises exciting highlights.

On both days of the Card Show the GS-Grading Service (GSG®) team offers an extra service for the visitors in cooperation with Topps Germany: the grading. The visitors can have the cards submitted on the event days graded with a label specially created for the event. In addition, all interested parties have the opportunity to book the Authentication Service. In this case, a GSG® employee will be present at the signing of the artist/athlete and will confirm the authenticity via a forgery-proof certificate.
