Haunted-Gears is a Stuttgart-based studio specializing in animatronics, automata, and mechanical art, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies to create lifelike and emotionally expressive creations.
Inspired by anatomy, forgotten machinery, nature, and dystopian aesthetics, the studio explores the delicate boundary between the mechanical and the living. Each piece is designed and built with a strong focus on movement, detail, and character, blending sculpture, engineering, electronics, and practical effects techniques. Alongside commissioned projects for collectors and creative productions, the studio also develops original limited-edition works that function both as kinetic sculptures and narrative objects.
This year, the studio will present a new collection titled “Echoes of Lost Fauna” – a series of dystopian automata creatures that combine organic forms with exposed mechanical elements. The collection imagines remnants of forgotten species reconstructed through fragile machinery, exploring themes of extinction, memory, and artificial life. Through its work, the studio aims to create objects that feel suspended between art piece, creature, and machine.
