Slovakian stuntman and actor Vladimir Furdik is coming to CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2023. As a performer, he is best known to fans of the cult fantasy series Game of Thrones, in which he starred as the Night King from 2016 to 2019.
At a young age, Furdik developed his passion for stunt work and acting and belonged to a theater group that presented traditional martial arts on the theater stage.
His career as a stuntman started in 1990 in the low-budget flick Tremors and assignments in many well-known productions were soon to follow. These include blockbusters such as The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Robin Hood, Prometheus, Snow White and the Huntsman, James Bond 007: Skyfall or the Marvel adaptation Thor – The Dark Kingdom, where he acted as Christopher Eccleston’s double.
Vladimir Furdik can also be seen again and again in smaller roles and for the successful series The Witcher he acted, for example, as a fight choreographer.
