CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2023 | GALACTIC CANTINA | Star Wars - Found Parts | Florian & Laubi

Star Wars – Found Parts
The history of drills, ladies’ razors & hand grenades

In their panel in the GALACTIC CANTINA (Hall 4) at CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2023, Florian & Laubi will give a little insight into the creative and sometimes curious paths that the prop makers of Star Wars took to create our favourite objects in a galaxy far, far away. The sometimes banal means and everyday objects they used to create props that could hardly be more iconic and, despite their earthly origins, look like they come from another world with just a few simple steps. And this is still the case today. Or would you have thought, for example, that a hand grenade would become a rucksack?

You can find out when the panel takes place on THE FORCE STAGE in the Program Overview.

Florian is a fan of the 2nd hour, saw The Empire Strikes Back in the cinema in 1980 and has been addicted to the saga ever since. In addition to his interest in all kinds of making-of literature, he has been attending Star Wars Celebrations for more than 15 years, builds costumes and props, is a founding member of the Willrow Hood Runs, is part of the Tydirium fan film project and collects Found Parts, the stranger the better.

Laubi has been a Star Wars fan for as long as he can remember and has been active in various costume and fan clubs for years. Even though he likes to claim otherwise, he collects all sorts of things related to the subject, especially the more curious things far removed from the usual action figures, such as rare books, film location visits and Found Parts.
