Hans-Georg Panczak

The Force is definitely strong (and, above all, audible) in Hans-Georg Panczak, whom we welcome to the GALACTIC CANTINA at CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2023. The Düsseldorf-born actor and dubbing/audio play narrator is best known to Star Wars fans as the unmistakable German voice of Mark Hamill – Luke Skywalker himself. In the radio play adaptation of Timothy Zahn’s novel trilogy about Grand Admiral Thrawn, he also plays the role of the Jedi.

But Panczak has also lent his distinctive voice to numerous other well-known film and series heroes. Among them are such iconic animated characters as Waylon Smithers (The Simpsons), Glenn Quagmire (Family Guy), Emporio Ivankov from the anime hit One Piece and, of course, Hollywood stars like George Clooney, Richard Dreyfuss, Sam Neill and Jackie Chan.

In front of the camera, the likeable actor could be seen above all in German series such as Der Alte, Derrick, Siska, Der Landarzt, Edel & Starck and numerous episodes of the ARD long-running series Tatort. He has also always felt perfectly at home on the theater stage.

Hans-Georg Panczak celebrated his convention premiere in 2014 at Jedi-Con of the Official German Star Wars Fan Club in Düsseldorf and almost 10 years later we are very much looking forward to his visit at CCON 2023 in Stuttgart. You can find him at his booth in the GALACTIC CANTINA in hall 4, where you can get autographs or e.g. a powerful announcement text for your mailbox. Hans-Georg doesn’t charge anything for it, but he is very happy about a small donation, which will go to a charitable organization: Hospiz-Initiative Kiel e.V.
