GALACTIC CANTINA KIDS AREA

PADAWANS BIG TIME …

The GALACTIC CANTINA KIDS AREA will be located in the GALACTIC CANTINA, right next to the Lifesize TIE Fighter (Hall 4, 4C75) from project X1 at CCON | COMIC CON STUTTGART 2023 for the first time. An adventure area for children and their parents to join in!

The following activities will be on offer (see schedule below):

• Crafting Star Wars figures
• Drawing Star Wars figures
• Painting Mando hearts

Under the sponsorship of the Jedi and Rebels of the Rebel Legion – German Base Yavin, this great event for Star Wars enthusiasts will be supervised by all the groups responsible for the organisation. Look forward to great activities and surprises such as LEGO Star Wars trading card booster packs for Series 4 from our co-operation partner Blue Ocean Entertainment. Or do something good and get a GALACTIC CANTINA KIDS AREA sticker “ICH WAR DABEI!” (I WAS THERE!) for a euro donation in favour of the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk, which will also be live with us (stand 4A81). The programme including times is available directly at the entrance to the KIDS AREA.

LEGO Star Wars Trading Cards – Series 4

As a special support we have the Galactic Academy Jedha Campus “on board”:

The Jedha Campus of Germany is the German delegation of the Galactic Academy. This is a worldwide costume club from the Star Wars galaxy for all children and young people, regardless of which side they belong to. Here, children can proudly present their costumes and form a community at events. True to the motto “Judge us by our size do not”. Registration is completely free and is organised by fans for fans. If you as a parent are interested in helping out, please contact the organisation via Facebook or email jedha@galactic-academy.net.

Special Guest: Mark Wamsler – the teacher with a feather and a lightsaber

Hello, my name is Mark Wamsler and I come from the Wild South. In addition to my job as a teacher at an SBBZ, I am passionate about working as an author and illustrator for well-known publishing houses such as Ueberreuter, Wunderhaus Verlag, Einhornverlag and teaching materials for Auerverlag.

I am also one of the few official coaches in the US Saber Legion in Germany and train the sport of LED Saberfencing/Lightsaber Fencing.

As a passionate Star Wars fan, I will draw motifs from this far, far away galaxy for and with you.

I will not only be drawing new characters from upcoming Star Wars projects at CCON, but also presenting my upcoming books, such as the upcoming adventure of the VANARA trilogy.

Visit me in the GALACTIC CANTINA KIDS AREA and let’s talk in a relaxed atmosphere about Star Wars, digital art, drawing and of course all the geek and nerd things that fascinate and inspire us.
